This event is FREE with paid Admission.

Bring a friend or two and come experience Transition’s giddy up on the trails!

Bike availability is on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to a few runs.

Beginner Skills Clinic with Pro Leigh Donovan

Clinics with Pro Leigh Donovan – Beginner & Intermediate Skills – Places to ride in Lake Arrowhead – SkyPark at Santa’s Village

Beginner Skills at the Skill Zone

This clinic will focus on the basic movements required to make mountain biking a little easier (and safer): Track standing, Bike & Body Separation, Braking, Shifting, and intro to the manual front wheel lift. We will spend the class at the Skill Zone doing drills and having fun getting more comfortable on the bike. This class is for entry level riders and riders who are struggling with bad habits or lack basic skills. This class is limited to 8 riders so sign up early!!! Leigh works with riders from first timers to professional athletes, helping them find their strengths while giving them new tools to overcome their weaknesses. Clinics are centered around finding your best; from balance to overcoming fears, and cornering. Come join Leigh…you won’t be disappointed!

Intermediate Skills Clinic with Pro Leigh Donovan

Intermediate Skills and Intro to Jumping

This clinic will start with a short climb to the trail head of the day…once we finish a warm-up run on Arrow we will then head over to the Skill Zone to review some basic bike skills that will help us better understand the best way at to jump, utilizing bike & body separation, manual front wheel lift, and the bunny hop. After we get through this, we will head back over to the trail where you can grow your confidence on learning how to line-up a jump, at what speed to so so to clear it; which will help you master the approach, take-off, body position in the air, and landing of the jump! This clinic is for intermediate level riders that don’t know how to jump or want to learn to jump properly. This class is maxed out at 6 riders, so sign up early if you want a spot!!! Leigh works with riders from first timers to professional athletes, helping them find their strengths while giving them new tools to overcome their weaknesses. Clinics are centered around finding your best; from balance to overcoming fears, Leigh will have you laughing and learning all at the same time. Come join Leigh…you won’t be disappointed!
